The 2010 PC World Latin America Awards Launched!
The PC World Latin America Awards 2010 Program has begun! The process will select the best IT & digital products in the region, conforming as a “Dream Shopping List” for our readers in the whole region.
Miami –May 28th, 2010 – PC World Latin America, the recognized leading technology magazine covering the IT Digital World throughout the region, in print and online, announces the launch of its “2010 PC World Latin America Awards” – the 12th edition of this Awards Program.
In this edition, PC World Latin America will award 28 categories in the most significant areas of the industry:
The Awards categories are:

- Best Digital Professional Camera
- Best Digital Semi Professional Camera
- Best Digital Camera for Home Users
- Best Digital Camcorder
- Best Multifunctional Printer

- Best Security Software
- Best Cloud Computing Solution
- Best Network Hardware

- Best Input Device (mouse, keyboard, pen tables, headphones, microphones)
- Best Digital Video, Sound and Imaging Device (scanner, web cam, speaker)

The nomination of products to compete is open to all digital companies serving the region. Each company can nominate as many products as they desire to compete in each category by completing all required forms before August 15th, 2010.
There is no cost to participate in the PC World Latin America’s Awards nomination process.
A preliminary selection by our editorial team will produce a list of the products Finalists to the Awards. Such list will be published in our September issue and on the Web in our site pcworldenespanol.com.
A panel of editorial judges from all the region will select from the finalists’ list the products that will be honored with the 2010 PC World Award in each category. The vote and the results are secret and will be announced during the 12th PC World Latin America Awards’ Grand Gala in Miami. Exact day and location will be announced early in July with the sponsorship packages available for the event.
On said event PC World editorial staff will also honor IT companies with four outstanding recognition awards:
- The “Digital World” award to the most innovative leader that boasts a well developed IT and digital product line
- The Product of the Year Award, to the most revolutionary technology in 2010.
- The People’s Choice Award to be determined by our readership as their favorite product in 2010.
- And the PC World Green Award to the IT company who is a proven leader in the green movement by adopting a wide array of earth friendly practices.
And finally, the Awards winners will be featured inside a special edition of the magazine in print and online in pcworldenespanol.com.
